Fragrances are one of the defining memories of any trip to India. I have just spent the last four months living in the remote hills in India and would agree with Christopher's reflections about the simplicity of life, at least in the rural areas where life and culture is very much connected with nature and the seasons. Flowers are woven beautifully into women's hair on special occasions, garlands of flowers are bestowed on honoured guests, and flower markets overflow with blossoms of every colour. Its interesting to hear that organic farming is being developed in this industry. And I love the photos...
