Euphoria perfume by Calvin Klein (EDP) was launched in 2005 under the renowned fashion house of Calvin Klein (now owned by the largest fragrance company in the world, Coty, Inc.); the king of sexually provocative advertising campaigns for his perfume as well as jeans lines; just remember the controversial sexy perfume ads for Escape with Milla Yovovich or for Secret Obsession with Eva Mendes.
Euphoria perfume was created by three of the best noses in the fragrance industry: Dominique Ropion, Carlos Benaïm and Loc Dong. The collaboration of these three innovative perfumers gave birth to a new line of fragrances that resembled to none before. No wonder, this particular perfume has been granted the Fifi Award for Best Luxe Fragrance for Women in 2006. This coveted laud only spells the outstanding qualities of this perfume.
The perfume's incarnation is mesmerizing fashion Supernova Natalia Vodianova, however the TV perfume advertisement is not as sexually provocative as we would expect from Calvin Klein. For Natalia Vodianova Euphoria perfume by Calvin Klein embodies the euphoric feeling of first love, meeting and falling in love... and the sensual aesthetic (still sexy, though) TV perfume ad is just the direct translation of her impressions: first touch, first kiss, floating in heavenly skies... True, the perfume will actually make you feel like that, falling in love for the first time...

The perfume bottle also looks as enticing as the spokesmodel. Designed by no other than Fabien Baron, it is supposedly designed to resemble an orchid folded to contain its precious essence. It glistens brightly when light strikes upon the polished silvery surface, wrapping up the glass container with the euphoric fragrance.
Euphoria perfume by Calvin Klein (EDP) opens with sweet, rich exotic fruits pomegranate and kaki, and vibrant green notes. The pomegranate exudes sweetness which is not intoxicating or overly sweet. To complement this feminine introduction, the lush green notes add freshness perfectly blending with the sugary scent of Kaki. The heart notes are seductive, 'narcotic' and dark; they are sensual exotic floral notes of lotus blossom, champaca, and black orchid. The brilliant mingling of the middle notes produces sensuality and seductive vibe that pervades the identity of this perfume. The dry down continues the dark, sultry nature of the perfume with black violet, amber, unctuous notes, mahogany, and musks. Overall, this more fruity than floral fragrance is amorous and sexually exciting, but not in a cheap, dirty way; it retains all the needed elegance and distance.
Lady & Feelings
Like Natalia Vodianova said, Euphoria perfume by Calvin Klein (EDP) truly evokes euphoric feelings of falling in love; with yourself, with your special someone, with the whole world! It is made for a woman who loves exploring the world of pleasures and surprises, not just impulsively, but with a touch of feminine elegance and sophistication to it.
The top notes emanate a clean scent which draws an air of vitality and freshness. The harmonious blending of sweet fruitiness with narcotic floral heart notes and sultry, creamy base makes a woman feel more confident, bolder and sexy. Considering also its excellent longevity and silage, this sensual sexy fragrance is one of the most universal 'dating' and 'night-out' fragrances - the romantic-seductive cloud of Euphoria will stay with you for almost an entire night (but please don't overdo, in any case). It seems to have a mysterious power of drawing compliments from men; undoubtedly a wish of almost any woman, right ;)? Once again, this juice is by no means dirty or cheap.
It needs to be mentioned though, that the fragrance development is very dependent on skin chemistry. Some consumers find that the fragrance doesn't go well with their skin type; it can appear overly sweet or cloying and some even report it develops kind of a masculine smell.
Euphoria perfume by Calvin Klein (EDP) is suitable for elegant, modern, bold women of any age group, except teenagers. It is designed for the women who love to stand out, who like to be noticed in the crowd. It is perfect for the evening/night out (parties) occasions, as it has an excellent silage and staying power, so you don't have to reapply it during that time. Regarding the wear, it complements elegant, formal wear excellently, but less casual wear. Euphoria (EDP) is in my opinion a perfume for colder days (fall, winter).
Although Euphoria by Calvin Klein may be too overwhelming for the more reserved ('conservative') women, it somehow still retains elegance and distance amidst the 'sexiness'. Perfect for (first) dating; bewitching, seductive, sexy, yet not over the line! As for me, I love wearing this perfume for special (formal) events or nights out. I just believe that women need to be more daring and adventurous from time to time. It gives you a sense of excitement and adrenaline rush as well as lots of lovely compliments, just avoid getting too far.
As a Gift?
Euphoria perfume by Calvin Klein (EDP) is a good choice for a perfume gift for women of every age group, except teenagers. Euphoria perfume (EDP) makes an excellent perfume gift for your adventurous friend, however not that great for the more reserved one. It is very appealing to majority of women and a must have fragrance for special, romantic and party occasions, so almost any female recipient will appreciate the gift.
The most appropriate holidays to gift this perfume are Valentine's Day, Christmas, and Mother's Day.
The perfume comes in 1 fl. oz., 1.7 fl. oz. and 3.4 fl. oz. EDP bottles. This is the current price range in different online shops: $45-55 for 1 fl. oz., $60-70 for 1.7 fl. oz., and $78-90 for 3.4 fl. oz.
