There are literally several thousand perfumes out there on the shelves and yet how do you choose the best one - for yourself or a special lady in your life?

Which perfume is the best? Will you like it later? Will she like it? Well, maybe you will, maybe you won't and maybe she will, maybe she won't.

But hey, this is not an answer to the question which perfume is the best! Can you make your perfume choice easier and less time consuming? Yes, you can. You can avoid trying all the millions and millions of perfumes on your own by finding a perfume freak who's tried a few and who'll gladly share their opinions about best perfumes with you.

Congrats! You've find a perfume freak - and that would be me ;). Disclaimer: MY Top Women's Perfume Picks

Perfume taste is like taste for wine, music or fashion - highly subjective, so a perfume that I find the most appropriate for myself (for my personality, style, skin chemistry, etc.), might not be suitable for you or for the person you are buying the perfume.

So far I've reviewed only perfumes, that are marketed as women's perfumes. However, I encourage you to wear freely whatever perfume you like, regardless of the marketed 'gender' of a perfume. There are loads of gentlemen's perfumes that smell fantastic on women. So don't be shy, experiment, and decide what perfume to wear with your nose and not with your eyes.

My favourite online place to buy perfumes is Amazon. It is a trusted, safe place to purchase online, with a wide range of fragranced products, standard delivery (US) takes 3-5 business days and the shipping rates are reasonable.

Another thing I like about Amazon, that you can get some awesome discounts; for example Shalimar Parfum Initial by Guerlain costs in my local department store $108 whereas on Amazon you can get the same perfume for $76! That's a discount of almost 30%!

Another online places I like to check when buying perfumes are PerfumeEmporium.com and FragranceX.com (click on the banners on the left), because they have huge selections of perfumes by different criteria and other fragranced products.

You'll also be able to find lots of testers, mini or limited editions, which sometimes are not available on Amazon.
